OLIVIA - A Willmar man was airlifted after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 71 north of Olivia Monday morning.

Dustin Ross Lavoie, 24, of Willmar was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale with non-life threatening injuries, according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

The report on the State Patrol website says Lavoie's 2014 Chevrolet was traveling north on Highway 71 in Winfield Township when it cross the centerline, side-swiped a semi traveling south and then hit a Ford Ranger, also traveling south.

The semi driver, Jeff Vernon Erkenbrack, 48, of Stewart, was uninjured, according to the report, and Ford driver, Rodrigo Flores, 35, of Mission, Texas, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was not transported to a healthcare facility. Both of them were reported to be wearing their seat belts.
