WILLMAR -- A 29-year-old Willmar man faces felony charges after allegedly molesting his fiancée's 9- and 10-year-old nieces.
Gregory DuWayne Johnson Jr. faces two first-degree charges of criminal sexual conduct along with a second-degree count. Johnson allegedly abused the girls on several different occasions at his place in Willmar, and also at the girls' home in Mankato between April and December.
Johnson made his first appearance on the charges Thursday, and was held unconditionally on $80,000 bail. Conditional release was set at $6,000 cash. As of Friday afternoon, Johnson was no longer in custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail.
Charges were filed after the 10-year-old approached her mother about allegedly being touched inappropriately by Johnson. In an interview with authorities, Johnson denied ever molesting the girls.
