WILLMAR – Caleb Aaron Blue of Willmar has been indicted for first-degree premeditated murder in the October death of David Medellin Jr. of Willmar.
Blue made his first appearance on the charges in the indictment Wednesday morning in Kandiyohi County District Court.
The grand jury indictment includes charges of second-degree intentional murder and terrorist threats.
The body of Medellin, 24, was found Oct. 31 in a plowed farm field east of Willmar. He had been missing for several days.
Blue’s next court hearing is at 9 a.m. Feb. 8.
