COLD SPRING -- A Willmar man was injured in a collision with a school bus reported at 2:30 p.m. today along Minnesota Highway 23 in Cold Spring. No children were on the bus.
Brian P. Mundahl, 26, of Willmar, was reportedly traveling westbound in a Pontiac Grand Prix on Highway 23 near the intersection of Stearns County Road 158 at the time of the accident, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The school bus, traveling eastbound, reportedly collided with Mundahl’s vehicle when the school bus driver attempted to make a turn, according to the report from the State Patrol.
Mundahl was reportedly transported to St. Cloud Hospital for what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the school bus, David G. Feldhege, 70, of Richmond, was reportedly not injured.
No children were on board the school bus, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
