ORTONVILLE -- A Willmar man was flown to a Fargo hospital Wednesday after the semi truck he was driving collided with a dump truck in Big Stone County.
According to the State Patrol, Lee Ashburn, 33, of Willmar, was driving a 2003 International 9400 semi on U.S. Highway 75 when he rear-ended a 1996 Ford dump truck driven by Gary Haugen, 57, of Clinton.
Ashburn was flown to Essentia Hospital in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries.
Haugen was taken to the Ortonville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident was reported at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday. Road conditions were dry at the time and alcohol was not a factor, according to the State Patrol.
