WILLMAR – A Willmar man was injured late Sunday when the semi he was driving lost control on the ice, went off the road and rolled.

Gary James Bregel, 62, of Willmar, was taken to CentraCare Health-Paynesville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to a release from the Minnesota State Patrol, The 2001 International semi was traveling south on Highway 71 near Highway 55 when it went out of control on the icy roadway.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Belgrade Police Department, Belgrade Fire Department and the Brooten Ambulance also responded to the scene.
