Willmar, Minn., man to hospital after struck by pickup in parking lot

WILLMAR -- A 90-year-old Willmar man was taken by Willmar Ambulance Service to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained around 7:10 a.m. Wednesday when he was struck by a pickup.

According to the crash report by Willmar Police, Leroy Ekstrom was walking in the parking lot at the BNSF depot, 400 Highway 12 Bypass Southwest, and was struck by a 2008 Toyota pickup driven by Scott R. Irwin, 47, of Willmar.

Irwin was not injured.
