WILLMAR — A Willmar police officer has been airlifted to St. Cloud after being seriously injured during a domestic incident around 5:40 a.m. Friday at an address on the 800 block of Mary Avenue Southeast, according to law enforcement.
The incident has been stabilized and there is no danger to the public, according to an email from Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt.
The officer is reported to be in stable condition.
Information regarding the suspect has not been released by law enforcement due to the early stage of the investigation.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been called to investigate the incident and will be the lead agency for information to the public.
