WILLMAR -- The Willmar High School bowling team won the West Central Conference title Saturday at the Kandi Bowl and advanced to the state tournament.
Willmar defeated Alexandria in a best-of-five series 226-184, 198-185, 174-178, 195-181 in the final.
Willmar defeated Benson in the quarterfinals and Ortonville in the semifinals of the conference tournament. Montevideo also has a team in the conference.
Willmar will travel to Little Canada and compete in an 18-team roll-off at the state meet Dec. 2 at Saxon Lanes.
