SPICER -- Willmar scored three unanswered runs in the seventh and eighth innings to edge New London-Spicer 7-6 in Cornbelt League action Sunday.
Tyler Horning tripled in the eighth to score Matt Sagedahl with the go-ahead run. Troy Ditterich closed out the game with three scoreless innings of relief for the win.
Sagedahl went 3-for-3 with two RBI, Horning had two hits and Kyle Birkland also had two hits.
Willmar took a 1-0 lead in the first, but NL-Spicer plated three in third and had a 4-2 lead in the fifth. Both teams added two runs in the sixth for a 6-4 NLS advantage.
The Twins collected 14 hits, but 11 came in the first six innings. Scott Rambow had two hits, scored two runs and drove in three. Skip Toops, Ben Kulset, Seth Rosendahl, Jeremy Dirksen and Brian Pieh also had two hits apiece.

Jordan Olson started for Willmar, pitching the first six innings. He allowed 11 hits, struck out five and walked three.
Kulset went the distance for the Twins. He gave up seven runs on 10 hits, struck out seven and walked three.
