WILLMAR - The north wind turbine that had been shut down due to a malfunction with the pitch controller was restored to full function Wednesday afternoon, said Jon Folkedahl, supervisor of electrical production at Willmar Municipal Utilities.
Folkedahl said today that technicians from turbine manufacturer DeWind restored the turbine to full function at about 5 p.m. Wednesday and that the unit was generating electricity.
