WILLMAR - A Willmar woman was injured in a two-car crash Sunday afternoon on U.S. Highway 12 and Benson Avenue.

Roads were icy at the time of the accident, which was reported at 3:36 p.m.

According to the State Patrol a 2007 Chevy Impala driven by Liban Abshir Dhore, 28, of Willmar, was going west on Highway 12 when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the centerline and struck a 2013 Dodge van driven by Nimo Abdulahi Mohamed, 35, that was traveling east on Highway 12.

Mohamed was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
