Katie Winkelman, a 6-1 junior forward/center from Morris, is averaging 11 points and six rebounds a game as a starter for the University of Minnesota-Duluth (2-1).
Winkelman has had a team-high 14 steals in the Bulldogs' three games this season. She opened the season by netting 19 points, grabbing eight rebounds and pocketing five steals against Drury. Against Concordia-St. Paul on Nov. 19, Winkelman set a career-high by getting six steals.
