Katie Winkelman, a University of Minnesota-Duluth senior forward from Morris, scored the 1,000th point of her collegiate basketball career Saturdayin the Bulldogs' 76-65 win over St Cloud State.
Winkelman made 9-of-16 shots, including 2-of-r4 from three-point range, and 8-of-11 free throws for a game-high 28 points.
Jackie Carlson, a sophomore post from Litchfield, had 12 points for St. Cloud State.
