WILLMAR -- A 58-year-old Willmar woman was transported Friday to Rice Memorial Hospital after she was hit by a pickup while walking in the Cash Wise parking lot.
Cheryl Pankow was walking away from the Cash Wise entrance, at 1800 Fifth St. S.E., at about 7:30 p.m. when she was hit by a 2001 Chevy Silverado driving near the grocery store entrance.
According to the accident report, the driver of the pickup -- Collin Rohne, 19, of Willmar -- said he dropped his wallet in his vehicle and reached to grab it before he hit Pankow.
