NEW LONDON – A woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday on icy roads near New London.

The accident was reported at 11:58 a.m. on U.S. Highway 71 at the intersection of state Highway 9, west of New London.

According to the State Patrol, Sarah Ann Hansen, 28, of Brooten, was driving a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup north on Highway 71 when she lost control of the vehicle on the ice and the truck went off the road and rolled. She was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
