WILLMAR - A 33-year-old Willmar woman was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained when she was struck by a vehicle around 12:05 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Ninth Street Southwest.
According to the crash report by Willmar Police, Sarah Loso was walking westbound across Ninth Street and was struck by a southbound 2010 Ford Edge driven by Karen Stern, 70, of Willmar. Stern had stopped at the stop sign and told officers that she did not see the pedestrian. Her estimated speed was 10 mph at the time of the crash.
