MILAN -- Do you produce food on your farm and market it directly to customers in western Minnesota, eastern South Dakota or the Twin Cities?

A free Land Stewardship Project workshop for farmers who are interested in exploring ways to distribute farm-fresh local foods more efficiently and with less expense will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Milan Community School.

To register and for more information, contact Tom Taylor in the Land Stewardship Project's Montevideo office at ttaylor@landstewardshipproject.org or 320-269-2105.

The workshop will feature Johnice Cross, manager of GROWN Locally farmer co-op in Decorah, Iowa, talking about local food distribution to area institutions.

Dakota Rural Action's Holly Tilton will share how the online SD Local Food Co-op ( http://sdlocalfood.org/shop ) is distributing locally produced food up and down the Interstate 29 corridor.
