WORTHINGTON -- An elderly rural Worthington, Minn., woman died early Monday as a result of a fire at her residence.
June Wiese, 83, died in the fire, which was reported at 2:28 a.m. Monday. Several fire departments and the Minnesota Fire Marshal Division were dispatched to the fire.
While fighting the fire, Worthington firefighters determined Wiese was in the home.
The fire is under investigation pending results of the autopsy.
