ANNANDALE -- Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City pitched a shut out in its quarterfinal match of the Annandale Invitational Saturday, which set the tone as the Falcons won the team title.
ACGC blanked Waconia 67-0 to start the tournament, then beat Windom/Mountain Lake-Butterfield-Odin 43-15 in the semifinals. The Falcons pounded Annandale/Maple Lake 51-12 in the championship.
Seven wrestlers won all three of their matches for ACGC: Ben Meyer at 112 and 119 pounds, Bill Wheeler (125), Travis Fredericksen (145), A.J. Fredericksen (160), Micah Larson (171), Nic Leither (189) and David Nelson (215).
