TRACY -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg won five of the final seven matches to pull away from Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and post a 40-28 win in the Camden Conference Tuesday.
Kurt Timmons notched a pin in 1:03 to open the dual at 103 pounds for KMS before TMB won the next two matches. Pins from Aaron Doraska at 125 and Trevor Mahlum at 130 then put KMS ahead for good at 18-7.
KMS then got decisions from Mitch Hagen at 152, Jeremy Merrill at 160 and heavyweight Cody Kinney and a pin from Brad Kneisl at 215 to close out the match.
