Chase Austvold opened the match with a second-period pin at 103 pounds for the Wildcats and teammates Dylan Hanson (decision at 112), Jordan Hennes (pin at 119), Chad Henle (pin at 125) and Shawn Hatlestad (decision at 130) followed with victories to put NLS ahead 24-0.

The Wildcats later got decisions from Billy Dean at 140 and Andrew Blomker at 215 and a pin from John Nething at 160.
