NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer, the No. 2-seed in Section 6AA easily dispatched Litchfield, 48-9, in the quarterfinals of wrestling action Tuesday.

The Dragons advanced to the quarterfinals with a 50-22 win over Willmar.

The Wildcats (18-1) lost the first match, then won the next four matches with two pins, a technical foul and a forfeit.

The Cardinals led 19-11 through the first six matches, but the Dragons won all but one of the remaining eight, including five by fall.

Mason Pomerleau at 125 pounds got the biggest win for Willmar with a 16-1 technical fall.
