Wrestling: Willmar clips Rocori, 36-29

COLD SPRING -- Willmar closed out the Central Lakes Conference with its second straight loop win, topping Rocori 36-29 Thursday night.

Willmar finishes seventh in the CLC with a 3-6 mark. Rocori fell to 2-7.

Willmar won eight of the 14 matches, including pins from Nick Braun at 130 pounds, Nick Dahlke at 145, Cody Stegeman at 160 and Nick DeVries at 285.

Winning decisions for the Cardinals were Zach Morris at 112, Adam Fagerstrom at 119, Eugene Stephen at 140 and Nathaniel Swoyer at 171.

Willmar ends the regular-season schedule Saturday at the Morris/Hancock Invitational.

The section team meet is Feb. 15 at Litchfield and the individuals are Feb. 22-23 at Albany.
