WILLMAR — Confirmed COVID-19 cases held steady Monday with no increases in many local counties. Big Stone and Swift counties each had one new case and Stearns County had 10 new cases, according to the state's daily report.
Big Stone now has 15 cases, Swift has 22 while Stearns County's confirmed total sits at 2,371.
Statewide there are 434 new cases for a total of 38,569 with 3,790 of them being health care workers.
There were three additional deaths attributed to COVID-19, for a current total of 1,474.
Most of the deaths, 1,156, have occurred in long-term care or assisted living facilities, and 1,195 of the deaths were 70 years or older.
Statewide, there are 258 COVID patients currently in hospitals, 125 of them being treated in ICUs.
The Minnesota Department of Health is also reporting that 33,907 of the state's reported positive cases no longer need to self-isolate.
So far in Minnesota, there have been approximately 679,693 completed tests since Jan. 20.
The information was included in the latest Minnesota Department of Health daily situation update, released at 11 a.m. daily. The data released are current as of 4 p.m. the day before.

Chippewa County: 79
Kandiyohi County: 573
Lac qui Parle County: 4
Meeker County: 61
Pope County: 10
Redwood County: 18
Renville County: 35
Stearns County: 2,371
Swift County: 22
Yellow Medicine County: 30
