WILLMAR — Renville County is reporting one new COVID-19-related death.
The Monday report from the Minnesota Department of Health indicates the individual was in the 90- to 99-year age range. This is the second COVID-related death from Renville County.
Three area counties — Redwood, Renville and Stearns — were the only counties in the region to report new COVID-19 cases.
Redwood County had two new cases, Renville County had one and Stearns County had 28.
Statewide there were 315 new cases for a cumulative total of 35,861 with 3,603 of them being health care workers.
There were 10 new deaths in the state for a current total of 1,435. According to the latest report, the newly reported deaths included six living in long-term care facilities, two from private residences and two in jail.
Most of the deaths in the state, 1,129, have occurred in long-term care or assisted living facilities and 1,165 of the deaths were 70 years or older.
Statewide, there are 278 COVID-19 patients currently in hospitals, 140 of them being treated in ICUs.
The Minnesota Department of Health is also reporting that 31,225 of the state's reported positive cases no longer need to self-isolate.
So far in Minnesota, there have been approximately 592,955 completed tests since Jan. 20.
The information was included in the latest Minnesota Department of Health daily situation update, released at 11 a.m. daily. The data released are current as of 4 p.m. the day before.

Chippewa County: 74
Kandiyohi County: 565
Lac qui Parle County: 4
Meeker County: 57
Pope County: 10
Redwood County: 16
Renville County: 24
Stearns County: 2,228
Swift County: 20
Yellow Medicine County: 27
