WILLMAR — There was just one new confirmed case of COVID-19 reported in Kandiyohi County in Wednesday's state report, bringing the total confirmed cases among residents of the county to 505.
No other surrounding counties reported new cases except Stearns with seven. The data reported Wednesday are current as of 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Statewide there are 372 new cases for a total of 25,870 positive cases, with 2,802 of them being health care workers.
There were 14 additional deaths attributed to COVID-19, for a current total of 1,086. None of those new deaths were reported in the surrounding counties.

Most of the deaths, 876, have occurred in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
One more probable COVID-19 death was reported Wednesday as well, bringing the total to 11. The state reports probable deaths when COVID-19 is listed on the death certificate but a positive test was not documented.
Statewide, there are 537 COVID patients currently in hospitals, 254 of them being treated in ICUs.
The Minnesota Department of Health is also reporting that 21,169 of the state's reported positive cases no longer need to self-isolate.
So far in Minnesota, there have been approximately 265,718 completed tests since Jan. 20.
The information was included in the latest Minnesota Department of Health daily situation update , released at 11 a.m. daily. The data released are current as of 4 p.m. the day before.
