Deanna C. Rhoda, 82, of Raymond, died Sunday, October 31st at Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Her funeral will be 11:00 am, Friday, November 5th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with interment in Clover Leaf Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.hafh.org

Deanna was born April 25, 1939, in Litchfield, the daughter of Clarence and Hulda (Berlin) Larson. She grew up in Litchfield, was baptized and confessed her faith at the Presbyterian Church and graduated from Litchfield High School.

Following high school, she worked as a waitress at Litchfield Café before moving to the cities where she worked at Honeywell. On August 8, 1959, she was united in marriage to John W. Rhoda. They lived and farmed in the Raymond area where she enjoyed helping on the farm, baking homemade buns and fry cakes, making chicken and dumplings, gardening, fishing, reading, playing cards, doing word searches and watching baseball and football.

Surviving are her children: Wanda (Steve Sr.) Frank of Willmar, Kevin (Janell) Rhoda of Brainerd, Craig (Melissa) Rhoda of Kerkhoven, Paul (Sarah) Rhoda of Brainerd, Kyle Rhoda of Raymond, Gene (Carrie) Rhoda of Foley, Rebecca (Scott) Knutson of Belview, Michelle (Philip) Marcus of Raymond and Glen (Camille) Rhoda of Willmar; 26 grandchildren: Derek (Jaime) Frank, Anne (Eric) Hallada, John Frank, Steve Jr (Akacia) Frank, Elizabeth (Shane) Dengerud, Matthew (Kaitlyn) Rhoda, Faith (Cody) Westphal, David and Ryan Zelenka, Joseph, Emily and James Rhoda, Samantha Godfrey, Dana, Seth, and Allie Rhoda, Anthony Knutson, Constance (Joe) Dunn, Andrew, Brian Christian, and Vincent Knutson, Jay and Isaac Marcus, Monica and Melanie Rhoda; six great grandchildren: Adalee, Killian, Bailey, Jathan, Tobias, and Adalynne. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Rhoda of Maplewood, LaVonne Rhoda of Willmar, Doris Larson of Beaverton, WA, and Laurie Larson of Post Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, in 2008, children, Scott and Cindy, grandson, Dustin Rhoda and great grandchildren, Ella Frank and Tiberius Hallada.
