Edna Lorraine Haug

Edna Lorraine Haug, 85, of Sacred Heart, died Thursday, July 18th at Methodist Hospital, St Louis Park. Her funeral will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 25th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, Mesa AZ. Lorraine was born on September 6th, 1933 to Martin “Babe” and Elizabeth O’Toole near Granite Falls and she graduated from Granite Falls High School. She married Harold A. Haug on December 15th, 1956 and they farmed together southeast of Sacred Heart for 37 years. They were blessed with three children: Susan, John and Robert. Lorraine was a member and former councilwomen of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and served as a school board member and 4-H Club leader. She and Harold enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her husband Harold, daughter Susan (Jim) Veeder of Bloomington, sons John (Kim) Haug of Minnetrista and Robert (Kari) Haug of Las Vegas, NV. Grandsons Benny Haug of Eden Prairie, Josh (Jo) Haug of West St Paul, Andy (Loren) Haug of Albuquerque, NM and Sam (Mikayla) Haug of Waco, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Martin O’Toole and her brother Ronald O’Toole.
