BIRD ISLAND, MN, Minn. - Mark Athmann, 66, Bird Island, MN, Minn., died Wednesday, Nov. 25, in his home.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bird Island. Visitation will continue from 12:15-1:15 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the church. The Rev. George Schmit will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the church or St. Mary’s Catholic School.
