Marvin “Marv” James Hinrichs

Marvin “Marv” James Hinrichs, 75-year-old resident of Willmar, MN died November 28 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A private family gathering will be held.

Marv Hinrichs was born on January 27, 1946 in Olivia, Minnesota to the late Paul and Lorintina Hinrichs. He grew up and attended school in Olivia, MN. After completing high school, he attended trade school for Plumbing. He was united in marriage to Nancy Willems on January 7, 1966. The couple made their home in Willmar, MN. Nancy died on July 12, 1995. Marv worked through out Minnesota in the plumbing and gas fireplace industry. Marv met Mary Reed and the couple was married in May of 1997. The couple later divorced. Marv loved his family immensely especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was passionate about fishing and taking his family and friends to one of his favorites, Lake Pakashkan in Canada. Marv enjoyed gardening and had a new love of bird watching.

Marv will be missed and forever loved by his children, Brian (Tanya) Hinrichs of Willmar, Amy (Jason) Halverson of Albertville; grandchildren, Josh and Jake Halverson, Tayah (James) Raddatz, Brandon (Summer) Hinrichs, Brooklyn Hinrichs; great-grandchildren, Brekkyn and Millie Sue Raddatz, Everly and Elton Hinrichs and his former wife, Mary Hinrichs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first, wife, Nancy Hinrichs and his two brothers, Lawrence and David Hinrichs.
