Patricia A. Bauman

Patricia A. Bauman, age 89, formerly of Kerkhoven went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Clara City Care Center. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday at Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Willmar. Her visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm, Friday at the church and continue one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Kerkhoven. Memorials are preferred to Living Hope Sunday School or Hope Pregnancy Center. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org

Pat was born March 8, 1931, in Minneapolis. At the age of 14 months, through adoption, she was welcomed into the home of William and Ruth (Erickson) Blomquist of Lake Lillian. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school. Pat graduated from Willmar High School with the Class of 1949. On September 6, 1952, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Bauman of Kerkhoven, at the Blomkest Baptist Church. To this union they were blessed with five children. They lived and farmed south of Kerkhoven, moving to Willmar in 1995. Pat later moved to the Clara City Care Center in 2014.

Pat was a wonderful wife and mother and was known as an excellent seamstress, sewing custom draperies for many years. Her Christian faith was an important part of her life, accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12. She was active at church singing and directing choir, and also teaching two year old Sunday school.

Surviving are her children: Pam Jones of Willmar, Karen (and Steve) Rumsey of Willmar, Adele (and Lee) Johnson of Willmar, Jeff (and Bobbie) Bauman of Kerkhoven, Roger (and Doris) Bauman of Monticello; sisters-in-law, Joyce Blomquist and Rosemary Bauman. She was known as โ€œNanaโ€ to her 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd in 1995; parents; brother, Tom Blomquist; as well as several other relatives.

Patโ€™s family would like to thank the staff at Clara City Care Center for the excellent care that she received for the past six years.
