Sharon Mohlin

Sharon M. Mohlin (Odean), age 82, died of natural causes on November 24, 2020 at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. Her memorial service will be at a later date with burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Creek Township. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org

Sharon was born in Minneapolis on Dec 16, 1937, to Clifford and Doris (Millay) Odean. She married Rudolph W. “Bill” Mohlin on August 20, 1955, in St Louis Park. Sharon was a homemaker and later worked for the Annandale Advocate newspaper. She lived in St Louis Park before moving to Maple Lake in 1976. She resided in Maple Lake until 1998 when she moved to Willmar.

Survivors include her sons, Robert M. “Mike” (Colleen) of St Cloud, MN and Daniel W. (Karen) of Willmar, MN.; three grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Lois Cook, Tom Odean and Myrna Hilgers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 1998; daughter Shelley Platz; a grandson (Troy Jr.) and infant granddaughter; siblings Gary Odean and Sue Swanson.
