Theresa Boros
Theresa Boros, 88, of Willmar, passed away on Saturday, May 16th at Bethesda Grand Memory Care in Willmar. A private family service will be at Clover Leaf Cemetery in Willmar. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org
Theresa Boros was born May 15, 1932, in Gant, Hungary, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Bognar. She immigrated to the United States on December 10, 1956, with Louis J. Boros, and they were united in marriage two days later on December 12th at Camp Killmore Refugee Center, New Jersey. They came to Willmar in 1957. Theresa and Louis were blessed with three children: Ava, Louie, and John. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, who was dedicated to caring for her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, reading, walking and spending time with her family.
Theresa is survived by her three children: Ava (and Bob) Ohnstad of Maple Grove, Louie (and Lori) Boros of Willmar, and John (and Sue) Boros of Maple Lake; six grandchildren: Jenny (and John) Blaser, James (and Malorie) Ohnstad, Scott (and Ellie) Boros, Chrissy (and Gannon) Nelson, Aaron Boros, and Jill (fiancΓ©, Brandon) Boros; and six great-grandchildren: Rolland, Magnolia, Stella, Thomas, Addalynn and Caleb.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Louis.
