Recent radio ads and mailbox flyers have been delivering the message that Dave Baker is responsible for skyrocketing health care costs in Minnesota. The problem is that a simple check of Mary Sawatzky's voting records shows a "yea" vote from her on bill HF5 that established the Minnesota health insurance exchange.
You can have the debate on the successes and failures of Obamacare and the Minnesota health insurance exchange. However, there is no debate which party put both into place. Nor can you debate which of the two candidates voted to establish MNsure in the first place.
To blame Dave Baker for the coming MNsure rate increases is beyond absurd. I hope area voters see the hypocrisy of these attack ads.
