Another NL-S referendum vote?
I thought this was voted on last year with a resounding “no” vote on a $14.6 million expenditure.
This vote comes at a cost of $21.6 million resulting in lower taxes? That’s like trying to convince us that water isn’t wet.
By the way, isn’t it a coincidence that the urgent need for this construction just happens to coincide with the settlement of the last 20-year loan? How about a tax reduction rather than another 20 years of indebtedness?

Let’s give them another resounding “no” vote on Nov. 6. They just might get the picture this time.
