I was speaking with an employee at a local store yesterday, and she told me something that had me all upset about her employer. I even wrote a letter to the editor about it.
Then the editors wrote me back and said they wouldn't run my letter because the facts were incorrect. Wow, am I grateful that the editors did the fact checking that I should have done before writing the letter. Thank you, editors, for sparing me from looking like a fool. And it will be a lesson to me in the future.
