I read about the county giving a tax abatement. A $983,000 gift for a $7.8 million Little Crow Country Club hotel and convention center project. Equal to 12.6 percent of the total.
I was wondering if I built an approximately $400,000 rental complex or a new home, if I could also get the 12.6 percent abatement, to reduce the cost by $50,400.
Sounds like one heck of a deal. Where do I apply for this free abatement?
