Has the world gone mad?
Every day we hear of the shooting of another police officer. Well, when they have all been culled out, who do we go to when some crime has been committed against us?
Of course there are rotten apples in every group of people. Some are just a little blemished, some have some really bad spots and others are just plain rotten fruit.
Some go bad because of circumstance and making bad choices, some because they are the spawn of you know who but all are an example of a lack of character.
Doesn’t anyone wonder why our world has changed so much? Could it be that we have become so liberal that there is nothing ever wrong anymore?
The word “sin” is never used even though it surrounds us. What is strange about this old world is that right and wrong never changes. Only the people do and so you can see what that has done for us.
When a person does something wrong it always affects many other people and destroys even more the inner core of the perpetrator.
The reverse of that is when good is used. It branches out and gives many of what may be labeled peace, hope, happiness or just pure joy which Is also shared by the giver.
So before we knock off any more of our protectors, I suggest we rid ourselves of our own garbage. For those that think they already are pure as the driven snow, think again.
I am tying a blue ribbon around my lamp post to show support of our police.
