Letter: A great year for Cardinals football

Congratulations to the Willmar Cardinals football team on a great season.

While the outcome of the championship game may not have been what we wanted, it was one of the best seasons we’ve had in a long time. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait another 45 years before we get another shot at it.

Kudos also to all the players and fans who, despite being on the wrong side of the score, maintained good attitudes throughout the game. That is what good sportsmanship is all about.

I am already looking forward to next year.
