Letter: Get rid of transgender law

I recently read the article in the local newspaer in regards to transgender policies that are being implemented by New London-Spicer schools.

Call me old-fashioned, anti-progressive, biased, politically incorrect, etc., it really doesn’t matter to me. But here is the deal, folks. If a person has male genitals, he has absolutely no right being in the same locker room or bathroom with my granddaughters.

There are very good reasons for separate facilities. There is no gray area here. It is wrong. There is no doubt in my mind that, sooner or later, this policy will be abused.

I know that I am not the only person that feels this way. Let’s speak up and draw the line in the sand. We can get this law changed. I urge you to contact our lawmakers and Gov. Dayton.
