Letter: It's about music, not money

I was disappointed to hear of the cancellation of Sonshine this year.

It was moved to Somerset, Wis., in hopes that it would reverse the declining attendance. According to the story, that didn't happen.

Some regular Sonshiners are probably hoping that this is only temporary, but some are concerned that this is the end of the run. Only God knows for sure.

One thing concerns me: I'm not pinpointing anyone about this, but there seems to be some people who only think about the financial part of this. All the lost revenue.

Some people seem to forget that this is God's music, and it's meant to glorify Him. We need to remember that. We can't serve both God and money.
