Thank you to Carroll Sarsland who, of all like minded adults, has the courage to speak up regarding a very questionable book on the reading lists of the New London-Spicer schools.

Who are the persons on the selection committee? Did they read the whole book or simply look at the title and find it interesting?

We are living in times that are constantly trying to lower standards of propriety and moral standards. We should oppose that.

In that case, why choose a questionable book rather one that uplifts and builds character? Our young people are attacked at every level.
