We need to do more to spur the growth of good clean energy jobs in our state. Already 15,000 people have clean energy jobs, but the potential exists for many more. By improving our state’s renewable energy standard and yearly energy savings goal, we can create many more good jobs, save money in the long run and protect our natural heritage for future generations. It’s the right thing to do for our economy and environment.

But some in the Minnesota Legislature are turning their backs on those 15,000 workers and those good jobs that help sustain communities all around the state. It’s time for our lawmakers in St. Paul to do the right thing and support clean energy and stop these attempts to roll back policies that are working to create jobs, save money and keep our air, water and soil clean for our children and grandchildren.
