Whose fault it came to this?
We have many hard-working people who are sick of paying for your ridiculous spending!
There was an influx of people into our community starting in 2009 and has continued ever since. The Willmar School Board turned a blind eye to this so they could build a new school and sock it to the ones who have worked all their life trying to save something for retirement.
I listened to the board meeting when the superintendent stated everyone around us has a fieldhouse so we need one too. Get with it. New London turned down theirs. Read the paper. By the way, some in my neighborhood bought new cars so does that mean I need to also, whether I can afford it or need it?
What’s with the senior high roof? Doesn’t anyone know how to fix anything? Sounds like everything was just left in limbo. If my house needed repairs I just can’t turn around and build new. What happened to the money brought in from the school sales? They are now being utilized by others with no problems.
I stood next to an elderly man and his wife needing to pay for their meds. He looked at his wife and said put the grocery list away, there won’t be any money left for those. He said the Social Security check won’t be here for another week.
Shame on all you big spenders.
There’s so many houses for sale and teachers sending their own children somewhere else.
I intend to vote no and spend what little retirement I have on myself.
