Monday night’s Willmar City Council meeting was an embarrassment to this community.
You can’t tell me that grudges are gone from this current City Council. They deny membership of good citizens who are willing to put hours and sweat equity into serving on city committees.
Are they jealous of the respect that others have in the community? Why don’t they come up with names for these committees? Is it because no one wants to serve or people are afraid of repercussions from certain council members or their cronies?
The slander that is spread on Facebook and shows on WRAC about the citizens of this community is outrageous.
The council needs to be open to where they are getting their advice. Since 2008, anti-minority and anti-big business has been a theme for some of the council members. Where is this coming from?
If we didn’t have these businesses, some of the council members would not have lucrative companies. It’s about time the citizens of this community open their eyes.
