As I hear about the discussion between the politicians over President Joe Biden's plan to spend money on our infrastructure, I think back to the 1950s.

I wonder how President Dwight Eisenhower was able to get the Republicans and the Democrats to work together to build our Interstate Highway System. Think about the jobs that were created at that time, and wonder how we look back and now realize how important this was to our country.

Is this now just as important for our future as a country for people to look back 50 years or so from now and think how important it was to our country that we were able to accomplish this at this time.
