Kathleen Quarzenski: Stop the extended use of fireworks

I’m all for a good celebration and celebrating our country’s independence is certainly admirable but enough is enough.

Fireworks go off from a week before the Fourth of July through the end of August.

This year there seemed to be more fireworks setoff by more people.

Where do the rights of those who don’t cherish this personal expression come into the picture and others' rights of self-expression end?

It’s now noise pollution.

Our animals cringe because they don’t understand what’s going on.

There should be a time/date limit to when you can set off fireworks.
