The victim of a lie is trust. The sad part of Donald Trump's claim to be a cheerleader for America to prevent a panic reveals he does not trust the character of the American people to handle the truth.

Especially after the unity, we expressed after 9/11 and how other potential pandemics like SARS and Ebola were handled with a calm and resolute demeanor. The truth brought out the best in the American character.

The virus did not disappear in April 2020 as you claimed. The lies that it would are an insult to all the people of this great country.

We can handle the truth, trust us!
