The Sept. 19 edition of the West Central Tribune included an article titled “Data shows abortion rate at lowest since 1973” and it goes on to state it is estimated there were about 862,000 abortions in the United States in 2017.

I asked Google how many people were killed by guns in the United States in 2017 and according to Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit organization that tracks media and law enforcement reports of shootings, excluding suicides, 15,549 people were killed by guns in the United States in 2017.

I find it extremely hypocritical that the Democrat Party turns a deaf ear to the silent screams of 862,000 aborted little people each year, but spends so much time and effort to take guns away from good law-abiding citizens.
